A womens match as an opener? Well not a bad match, the finish came with Mickie james hitting the Last Kiss to win the WWE Divas Championship.

Chris Jericho is interviewed backstage about his partner for tonights match up but he says that no-one will see this guy coming.

ECW World Heavyweight Championship:


Tommy Dreamer© vs. Christian Vs Vladimir Kozlov:

The first decent match of the PPV, the match started with Christian and Dreamer teaming up on Kozlov but he soon got the upper hand. The finish came with Kozlov hitting the Iron Curtain on Christian and Dreamer hitting a DDT on Kozlov but then covering Christian for the pinfall.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer via pinfall (Still ECW Champion)

Dreamer is interviewed backstage about his win when out of nowhere William Regal destroys him from behind with a steel chair and then a tiger bomb on the chair. Regal walks off with an evil smile on his face.

WWE Womens Championship:


Michelle Mccool© Vs Melina:

Another womens match to send the fans on their toilet break. Another humdrum match which ends with Mccool hitting the Styles Clash on Melina for the one, two, three.

Winner: Michelle Mccool via pinfall (Still WWE Womens Champion)

WWE Champion Randy Orton is shown backstage pacing around and warming up. Legacy walk in and ask if he knows who Jericho’s partner is tonight. Orton says he doesn’t care about Jericho, he cares about beating John Cena and Triple H tonight. He asks if they still have his back to which they both nod.

WWE United States Championship:


Kofi Kingston© vs. Evan Bourne Vs Big Show:

Big Show dominates from the outset, destroying both men with open handed slaps and chops. Bourne and Kingston work together and manage to hit a double dropkick to knock Big Show out of the ring. The two men trade counters in a thrilling exchange before Bourne gets the edge and goes for the Shooting Star Press but Show walks along the apron looking to go for him, so Bourne hits a double knee press onto Show and onto the floor! Bourne manages to crawl into the ring but as he gets up, he’s hit by Trouble In Paradise from Kingston and this one is over.

Winner: Kofi Kingston via pinfall (Still WWE United States Champion)

A limo arrives backstage and Vince McMahon walks out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. JR wonders what he could be here for?

“No Chance in Hell” hits and the owner of the WWE walks out. He says he has a big announcement to make and that tomorrow night on RAW, he will announce a new general manager of RAW!!!

CM Punk is shown backstage warming up. Jeff Hardy walks in and tells him that his time has come and that tonight he will beat Punk. Punk laughs and says that his demons will overcome him tonight and straightedge will prove victorious once more.

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship:


Chris Jericho/Mystery Partner© vs. Legacy(Cody Rhodes/Ted Dibiase):

Legacy come out first and then Jericho’s music hits and he walks onto the ramp with a mic in hand. He says tonight, Chris Jericho has found a partner more talented than Edge, more talented than Legacy, tonight Chris Jericho teams with….Lance Storm!!!!

Storm coming out of retirement seems to shock Legacy as they get virtually no offence in until halfway through the match when Storm gets low blowed by Dibiase. Legacy work over Storm until he makes the hot tag to Jericho who cleans house. The finish comes with Dibiase going for the Dream Street but Jericho hitting a low blow and the Codebreaker for the pinfall.

Winners: Chris Jericho/Lance Storm via pinfall (Still WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions)

Jericho is interviewed backstage with Storm and Jericho says that the thrill seekers are back but are more mature, more skilled and more refined than before.

WWE Intercontinental Championship:


Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler:

A surprisingly great back and forth match which ends when Mysterio goes for a springboard move but gets nailed with brass knucks by Ziggler who gets Dq’ed by the ref.

Winner: Rey Mysterio via DQ (Still WWE Intercontinental Champion)

As the ref checks on Mysterio, Ziggler taunts Mysterio and pushes the ref out of the way before hitting his Jumping Russian Leg Sweep on Mysterio. Ziggler walks off to a huge chorus of boos.


John Cena is shown backstage walking into Triple H’s dressing room. Cena says he wants to wish him luck for tonight, because he’s going to need it. Triple H goes toe to toe with Cena and says bring you’re A game tonight, because hes bringing everything hes got and more.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship:


CM Punk© Vs Jeff Hardy:

Easily the best match so far between these two as both men hit their finishers but cant get the 3 count. Hardy gets frustrated and goes for a whisper in the wind but Punk pushes the ref in the way! Hardy checks on the ref as Punk rolls out and grabs his belt. He rolls back in and swings for Hardy but he ducks and hits a Twist Of Fate! Hardy climbs to the turnbuckle and hits a second Swanton and covers Punk. The ref is still down but manages to count slowly…1.…2..Punk kicks out! Hardy is furious and grabs the title belt and swings for Punk but Punk dodges and hit’s a GTS out of nowhere! He covers for the 1...2...3!!!

Winner: CM Punk via pinfall (Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion)

Punk celebrates with his title but then sees Hardy on the floor and picks him up and hit’s another GTS! The crowd boo furiously as the now definitely heel Punk holds his title up in celebration.
